Q & A with Budgy Smuggler Head Designer

We are lucky enough to work with some incredible brands and designers. One of our favourites has to be all of the team at Budgy Smuggler. We work so closely with their brand to print their Budgy Smugglers and are proud to have been a part of their wonderful journey.

We got together and interviewed Angus, Head Designer at Budgy Smuggler about what it’s like to do the work he does, and why he loves working with Sublitech.

Tell us a little about your position at Budgy Smuggler, what does a day in the life of Gus look like?

My position at Budgy smuggler is Senior designer, an average day for me is about creating magic for our customers, and helping to turn their swimwear dreams into reality. 

What do you like most about being a graphic designer?

What i like most about being a designer is the community, it crosses multiple platforms meaning there is always somewhere there to lend a hand or share their knowledge.

Why is sublimation great for Budgy Smuggler? What do you like most about sublimation?

It is great for us because we are not held back by colour limitations or complexity of the design, colours are limitless, with sublimation and you can see this through our range.

What is your favourite thing about working with Sublitech?

Favourite thing about working with sublitech.. is the staff, everyone there is so welcoming, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable in sublimation, and the quality is 2nd to none.
